You might find it quite difficult to write on paper with leather as your desk surface.

Also, carving and stamping means veg tan leather. Everytime you write, you will leave an inprint on the leather which is permanent.

One thing most people don't know is that when we buy leather, there are many natural marks on it which we have to "waste" while cutting our pieces. This is possible for smaller items.

For such a big piece, if you want it blemish free, material cost alone will be very expensive.

To me, any country's Birthday/Independence day, is a day worth celebrating. They are the date where we remember our citizenship, our home and our families.

August is a month for Singapore. Our National Day is on the 9th August.
Since last year, we started making Limited Edition Wallet to celebrate this day.
Introducing today, 1st August, our 2nd edition of Patriot Wallet.

9th August, marks the National Day for Singapore, a day that all Singaporean are proud of. Since last year, Obbi Good Label had released a Limited Edition Red D'Art Wallet. This year, we are using an extremely rare Ostrich Skin to incorporate into a mid size wallet.

Commonly, Ostrich Skin are known for its bumps or dots on this skins due to the removal of their feathers during tannery processes. But little do we know that on the leg and thigh potion of the Ostrich, we can find awesome grains and amazing texture of the skin.
Adding to its rarity of production, each leg of the animal can only make 1 piece of wallet size leathercraft.

We want to commemorate our National Day 2011 with this Limited Edition wallet. We are a small country but we are different in our own way. Making a difference out of the common, tough and steadfast, withstanding all stormy weathers.

Anybody knows how much would these handmade leather wallets cost? I'm looking at a regular sized wallet with 2 bills compartment and several cards similar to the mass market models available. Not the long wallets mostly seen here. TIA
