My leather sofa started to crack at some place.. How to repair experts pls advice..thx

AFAIK, leather that has cracked.. is not repairable back to its original condition. Unless you're talking about stitching it back which will look.. ugly. Otherwise just condition it from now on.

Thanks in advance!

similar to your SAR21 sling clip

There is no official stockist in S'pore for Alden to my knowledge. You would be able to buy from hongkong and korea but at inflated prices. And the online stores that retail alden generally restrict shipping to within the US. So yeah, if you do find a way around this please share.

UK sites have it more readily but price probably won't be cheap also. You can check out endclothing. Wait for their promo if necessary. And you'll also need to pay GST.

bump bump, anyone knows?

You can try out cleaning and restoration services such as ColorWash (google for more info such as the address, opening hours, etc.)

Basically, you can seek their professional advice on whether stains and/or marks can be lightened.

Personally, I think these marks are caused by prolonged storage in a humid environment which causes mildew/mold to grow which 'eats' into the leather. Thus, such marks are created.

As to completely restoring it to its glory days might be virtually impossible. Then again, you should really seek professional advice.

But, I feel it looks great in this state. Very rugged and raw, gives character to the leather. Just needs a little clean-up and some polish.

Hello fellow forumers, does anyone know where I can go to get the leather strap of my messenger bag shortened? It looks like a very simple job, but I've not used such service before.

Can shoe repair places like Shukey do this?

Hi guys, am looking for a leather satchel for day to day use. Reason being I hate carrying a bag and rather have a hand carry satchel to bring my barang barang.

A reference can be like the one featured in fabrix website but am looking at alternatives. Thanks!

Saddleback leather if you want full grain leather and construction that will outlive you but at a price you get what you pay for, and tad bit heavy, but that's how full grain leather is.

Thx in advance.
