Made a trip to Lego land last week and bought some loose bricks at the pick a brick wall.

Just a random purchase with no specific intention of parts I wanted. Also my first pick a brick purchase.

Price was 35rm per 100g vs the local bricks world pick a brick which charge by per cup.

Just wondering if it would be cheaper to buy by weight vs volumn.

I grabbed 10 windows and 2 doors plus some loose bricks. Turned out it was just shy of 100g.

Total pieces was about 60 which works out to about 60 cents rm per piece or 25 cents sgd.

Have not checked brick link prices but I guess it's cheap for windows and doors but probably expensive for just normal bricks.

Help my colleagues to get a gift. Delayed till now although est shipping went from 17 - 23 Dec to 23 dec - 3 jan back to 17 - 23 Dec. Emailed once and got the usual check with warehouse reply. It looks like they're doing a mass order from US. Pretty pissed. Last time I'll buy from them.

Looks like someone is updating the delivery schedule as mind change twice. Hope it's due to the holiday peak season delay. I'm waiting one more package from amz due on 17 dec.

Dam I feel like a noob online shopper. I've bought countless stuff for so many years and 100% track record. It's more like stay away from local stores.

Finally EOL. This iconic set is going to be popular as long as no UCS MF being released.

The non-UCS MF still have its place lah, given the size and pricing it's perfectly fit for kids as a playset.

Remember, TLG's core targeted audience is still the children, we AFOL are just like the flies that keep buzzing around, stealing the kids' food and wouldn't go away :s13::s13::s13:
