Found Nerf Guns when shopping around in Jurong Point NTUC extra.
Got a couple of Mavericks and others .
Saw 1 and only Recon on the top shelf , too high to reach , (need to be Yao Mings Height to take)
Damn , went to OG bugis to get a recon yesterday when i could have just got if from NTUC .

or i now can just direct take apart and spray direct without applying anything first?

Yup, we've already found FBR a while back... you can buy it from Ban Hoe Lee hardware @ Rochor Centre. It is white in colour and comes in various OD sizes, ask for "13mm Foam Backer Rod".

i wanna join in in this hobby.
can someone enlighten me on how the automatic firing works? saw it on youtube. the vulcan which looks like a gpmg. does it have a gas chamber like real guns? or is it worked by batteries?

Glad you are keen on picking up the nerf hobby!

The Vulcan is a fully automatic blaster, it uses a battery powered motor to cycle its spring plunger which pumps bursts of air to propel the foam darts.

Hasbro begins search for Singapore's 1st NERF Tournament 2009 Champion

HASBRO BEGINS SEARCH FOR SINGAPORE’S FIRST NERF TOURNAMENT 2009 CHAMPION

Strategise, shoot and score at HASBRO Singapore’s inaugural NERF Tournament 2009. Experience the thrills and spills at the tournament where teams of four will battle for the victorious title of Singapore’s first NERF Tournament champion.

The NERF Tournament 2009 will be held at Downtown East D’Marquee on 29th and 30th August where players will race against one another in the adrenaline-pumping matches to win the grand prize worth $1,000 for each category. Teams are required in the intense five-minute game to swiftly attain the highest score through multiple scoring options such as tagging of opposing players, capturing the flag and successfully hitting various targets.

On 29th August, the tournament will be open to two age groups – 8 to 12 year-olds and 13 to 17 year-olds – whereas the open category for ages 8 and above will be scheduled for 30th August. To join the exciting two-day challenge, there is a registration fee of $4 per person and every dollar will be donated to HASBRO’s adopted charity of 2009, Make-A-Wish Foundation® (Singapore). Upon registration, each participant will receive a NERF Wrist band.

While the teams are engaging in the competitive Dart Tag action, the public can experience first-hand the toughest NERF Blasters at the NERF Shooting Gallery for free and be awed by the range achieved by the brawny machine.

The quest for the ultimate NERF team will begin on 26th June. To register your team of four, visit the official website for the NERF Tournament 2009, www.nerf2009.com.sg. Registration will close on 21st August.
