Anyone got cashback for iPayMy transactions that made in May? I haven't received any cashback till now.
as long as you didn't get any cash back, there is a good chance you will get later. OCBC is known to pay its cash back on a delayed basis

Anyone received the $50 cashback foreign currency promotion? Does it mean you need to spend at least 1k sgd worth of foreign currency to get the $50? The original Frank cashback of 8% (capped at $25) can be stacked right?

So effectively need to spend 1k sgd of foreign currency to get $75 cashback (7.5% rebate)

Am I correct?

I guess I am late in the game. Received their marketing email.

FRANK by OCBC | Sign up now and get a stylish luggage (worth S$319) on us!

If one can do a minimum spend of $800 this card is not bad for the cashback they give. But the luggage is useless to me it would be better they give cold hard cash haha then I may consider also apply this card just for the cash.

Made a transaction of SGD 718.00 to Airbnb and kena CCY conversion fee of SGD7.18.

Anyone knows why there is a fee imposed when Airbnb charges me in SGD? Is this fee waivable?

And for this transaction, will I get the 8% cashback under FX transactions or local currency transaction? Thanks

Think it's charged by Visa or vendor rather than by the issuer bank

i think this is the 1% direct conversion charge when the servers are based overseas. I get this 1% charge for my apple i-Cloud+ subscription when they charge in SGD...got no choice to charge in USD...

is there an optionin AiRBNB to choose to be charged in the local currency like USD?

I don't recall seeing any option to change the currency but I could have missed out, first time booking thru Airbnb.

You have a choice to charge iCloud subscription in USD?

Can always pay for it using one of the no FX fee debit/credit cards or Amex.

Airbnb has option to change currency. However, fx transaction has fees also at least for this card. So perhaps consider using a no fx fee card. For me I just pay the 1% as I use cards with benefits > 1% and pay fx doesn't make sense for my case as fx charge is 3.25%.
