The new Frank Card by OCBC... any good? (Getting awesome since 2013)

Seems like OCBC is making a huge marketing campaign out of it. Anyone is using it and how is it?:D

I also applied and got the $50 H&M gift card. Now waiting for the $30 H&M gift card after spending $500 within first month. Don't have many discounts. Only good factor is card can have a desired design but need to pay money. Other than that, charge to some merchants can earn 100 bonus ocbc points like groupon.

Among local banks cc offerings...OCBC's is pretty much the most lacklustre IMO...

They are just trying to be "hip" and attract attention with this customizing-your-own-card gimmick...but I doubt it would really matter much... :s22:

The promo till june 2012? So how to redeem the rebates? Any idea.

You may go to their Internet Banking -> Rewards -> Click on Redeem Rewards -> they will ask you to select the card, must select Frank -> window will pop up -> Search for "370001", this is the product code for $10 credit.

It was quite hard for me to find that Reward Item "OCBC S$10 Credit (For FRANK)", so I give the product code for your easy searching :)

It costs 1000 OCBC$

I think they're having a mismatch of their potential client pool - those most likely to buy the designs are students, and most of them don't have 30k income. On the other hand, those who do have income are probably not willing to spend $50 just for design alone.

It can also be a debit card, rite?

Come to think of it. Since OCBC allows points transfer, anyone knows if it is possible to transfer points from our conventional OCBC card to Frank?

What I meant was before seeing your guide. Thanks for your help.

You are welcomed! :)

This cash rebate comes in handy because after I signed up for the OCBC SmartChange Programme, I won't be able to earn OCBC$ anymore; I had ~1k OCBC$ and there isn't anything useful I can redeem except for this cash rebate :s13::s13:
