Where got very marked up? You got include shipping and exchange rate anot bro? Not as marked up as devilboi
USD350 -> SGD429

tax 7% = SGD30.03

Shipping = +/- SGD50-80

Add another 20USD for google shippiing domestic....

In my years of Shipping internationally (since the days of Nexus One), my shipping fees never incurred towards the hundreds....in fact, the more products i bring in in a single package, the cheaper each person should incurred since the shipping will get split among more ppl...

but like i said, if others are willing to paid than price, i have nothing to say....

but my estimation is every should not be more than SGD520..

quite reasonable price, i would say...

sorry to say this: did you even know what you are talking about? i already made an estimate from my source and i should be paying around $565 if my source buy for me. keep in mind that you can't use USPS as there is battery in the phone which since earlier this year, USPS has banned air parcel with battery. therefore, shipping has to go through USPS, Fedex and the likes, which i already got a quote. so, the person might be marking up but not by much.
yes..i know what am i talking about...

im one of the first in sg that got galaxy nexus last november........

i bring in 4x Nexus 7 this year through comgateway....all 16gb....all of us individually pay less than SGD350 total.......

You doing MO? :D

I would love to get it at S$500 given the lowest cost of your estimation is already S$510. :D

i already buying 4 for friends....my card is already maxed out......

i usually refrain from MO for others other than friends since i am at a conundrum regarding sellers:

1) on one hand, if i am buying for strangers, of course i will marked up price abit since....realistically speaking, no lunch is free in this world. Why go through all the trouble for strangers if i don't earn $$

2) on the other hand, i despised those sellers than marked up the price to ridiculous levels since i believe we should always buy things as closed to the price as they were 'originally' advertised. I will feel like an idiot if i bought some overpriced not because of the perceived value of the products but because the seller took advantage of the situation.

seriously guys, just apply for an AMEX card and use Comgateway's borderless (Shop Online & Shipping Internationally Singapore & USA).

It's not THAT hard to ship things by yourself.

Yeah...understood. For me it's just being too lazy hehehe.....

The link u gave is affiliated with HopShopGo I guess? Cos I clicked it already shows me as logged in, except that it uses Amex instead of Paypal. Like that lagi easier to use Paypal, no need apply for Amex card......unless there's some other advantage?

This one is a no brainer......without expandable slots, we need as much as we can get. :(

so that dude selling at $570 is considered high mark up? just curious, perhaps our perception of mark up is different. no offense though.

i have been buying and selling (had an eBay store a few years back in 2000) for like more than a decade and i got my Nexus One direct from Google as well but never deal with them direct since the inception of the regional Google Play store cos' the credit card won't allow. tried comgateway and other services (you named it) for other stuff (clothes, bags mainly) but haven't tried trusting them with electronics yet.

don't need to rebuke lah. aiyo. exchanging pointers nian and as a person who love to shop online, every avenue can be considered but at this point, i will be getting my Nexus 4 via my friend who's living there.

how to get around with non-US credit card? that's one thing that i can't do. any tips?

Those of you getting a nexus 4 from the USA. You all willing to risk $500 for a set that might be faulty?
First batch in the world.
No international warranty you all can part with your money?
I'm just a student, currently using my gnex. I SO WANT A NEXUS 4, but the warranty is making me hold back my money for now to see when it hits SG how much it'll be.

Why you all so willing to spend the money? What if spoil?

warranty aside, early adopters always have the risk. it depends how much you want the phone.
