Can I check if you guys load custom roms on your n4? Recommended to use cyanogenmod? I used to run cm on my HTC Desire. Not so used to vanilla android now.

Another plus point about the nexus 4 is that the price point is very attractive for the whole package and android phones as a whole.

Sharp screen, responsive UI, excellent build quality and direct/faster OS updates... all these made IMHO, better than the more expensive Samsung offerings. Of cos it' not better in all departments but good enough. I've owned iP5 S3 and Note 2 (all at once) but only nexus 4 managed to take me away from the excellent iP5 and it's still darn good apps and app store.

If I have to pick the most teething thing against iP5, is it's camera and quality of photos taken. Photos taken in N4 tends to be under exposed a bit and the new camera UI is certainly flashy (UI machiam Star Trek) but a lil getting used to. But, it helped that Google bought snapseed and released it free thus editing photos on N4 becomes less painful.

It isn't about the LTE variations of the phones which causes lack of support for non LTE exynos devices.

Note 2 in Singapore is LTE version (N7105) as well and they still get ****ty support. I don't think they have CM at all. Same goes to S3 LTE.

Only the Galaxy S3 USA LTE has proper CM support because it isn't using exynos but Snapdragon S4.

The developers didn't jump to support the LTE version of the devices. They are just avoiding exynos chipset devices. In fact, most LTE variations has poorer support than non LTE.

Yes, I'm thinking of getting one. The problem is the MO sellers don't have experience in sending overseas so have to use vpost or taobao agent.

Been using the N4 for 1 week and really loving it so far. Loves the build quality of the phone compared to my S3. It just feels so premium, like an iphone compared to the plasticky S3 which costs more.

UI is much more snappy and responsive due to vanilla Android and 2gb of rams. The only downside is the lack of some shortcut widgets which is available for S3 TouchWiz. But that is something I can live with as I came from IP4 before Android which has no widgets anyway.

The 4.7inch SuperLCD2 is noticeably sharper than the 4.8inch SuperAmoled HD on the S3. Battery life is about the same, camera not so good (IMO lousier than S3 and IP4) but I am not fussy about hp cameras as I use dedicated cameras for my pics anyway.

All in all, a very satisfied buy for 2012 and it really goes well with the official bumper. The bumper feels like part of the phone when u put it on.

I totally agree with the buttery smooth description. This is how buttery smooth on JB should be. I dunno about u guys, but my experience with the non-LTE S3 on JB is definitely not buttery smooth.

I initially didnt like the feel of the phone after putting the bumper on as I find it become abit big and quite slippery to hold. Now that I got used to it, I quite like it. Its like the N4 is meant to look like this.

Am loving this phone, even more than my previous iphone and s3, really buttery smooth interface lol

One thing is maybe it feels too big for my hands after putting the bumper loh other than that I don't have any qualms about it
