shd be able to use, probably need to factory reset your phone.

but i find it useless as it turns on display which will waste battery life. beautiful but not practical.

Nexus 4 not charging when Macbook Pro is sleeping

I currently own a Galaxy Nexus and a Nexus 4 which I recently acquired. I noted on the Nexus 4, when my MacBook Pro's lid is closed, the phone stops charging, anyone experienced this as well?

If so any idea how I can go about rectifying it?

Charging works fine on my Galaxy Nexus with the MacBook Pro's lid closed btw.

And if you're interested in the Nexus 4 anyway, then all that is to make the hardware match the software is for a port of CM10.1. Which I have no doubt the chinese people will be able to hammer out in a timely fashion, given what I've seen so far.

Admit it, you're running out of excuses. At the end of the day, it's the brand lah, ok?

Guys, how to set up the stock Email app on N4 to sync sent items as well as inbox items?

I have 2x gmail and 1x hotmail acct that I set up to sync to the Email app. Inbox is fine, all those old emails also auto sync. But for Sent items, I can only see emails that I sent from my N4, I can't see any sent emails that I sent from web. How to change this?

(I tried using the gmail app ... but that one doesn't support my hotmail acct and also doesn't have consolidated inbox)

Found out the culprit is the samsung earpiece.

Once plugged in, i cannot call or receive calls.

Once unplugged, i can.

What earpiece you guys using?

tried Samsung s2 ear piece , can receive call and tok without problem. Loud and clear

Also I went to the Sim Lim Square 4th floor shop (In front the lift the Orbiant Square or something...) and bought its clear SP. If possible ask them not to use Zippo on the screen protector. It damaged the screen protector anti fingerprint coating in some areas and some areas on my screen protector looks different from others. It can clearly see the coating got cleaned off! In the end I i just went house and use LCD cleaner and wipe off all the coating. No more anti fingerprint... At least it looks better. But the screen protector is more a fingerprint magnet now...zzz

Thanks for the advice, guess I should avoid rubbing the thing with alcohol wipes which I normally do to remove oil.

Just to update, just received the confirmation email from google that my order on 28th Nov has (finally) shipped
Despite the debacle over orders made in mid-dec being shipped instantly, they actually kept to the estimated 4-5 weeks time frame which they originally promised
