Just bought the Rock slim shell case from Adix82. Here's my 2 cents on how it compares to the Nillkin hardback case.

Thickness:
The Rock case is definitely slimmer than the Nilkin case. I think using the Rock case, it gives you a more "naked" feel. The Nillkin case (eventhough already quite slim), it does add a wee bit more bulk to the phone.

Grip/Feel:
Both cases are actually quite slippery. Even with the Nillkin's textured back, somehow I feel the soft matte finish doesnt add to much grip. But just my personal opinion, the Nillkin case somehow feels it was made with higher quality material. While the Rock case feels like cheap plastic.

Protection:
Not much difference to both cases here. Both case doesnt cover the top and bottom chrome bezel. And both cases also provides minimal lift on the front. This means if you place your phone face down, the screen will not touch the surface - which is a good thing. Against scuffs and scratches, good. Against drops, not very good.

To any future buyers, IMHO, DO NOT use vPost. They'll give you so many excuses to not delivery your package to you on time. (5-8working days) It's being 11 working days and I've yet to receive my phone..

Really. I just got mine from Vpost.

Only thing I can say is their cost is a tad high. But so far no problems yet, touch wood.

Last time I was trying to find a running armband for my iPhone 4, researched for a few models and found out it isn't really good.

If the armband is lousy, your sweat will get in and it'll trigger the liquid sensor in the phone. End up I just use a ziplock bag and run with it in my hand.

Currently using xylon stable version + franco nightly version. Normal usage can last whole day, no sweat. If idle most of the time, can last about 2 days. I would say its battery performance is good... If u know how to set some settings correctly. And btw, i did not use any battery saver apps. Haha.

u select an option using the power button. it doesnt work?

As in when i go in the recovery meny, i can see the small android, but when press the vol+ and power button together, the instruction says i am suppose to see the factory reset option, but i don't see it.

In the end, i just hold the vol+ and power button then the phone reboot with the bootloader unlocked.

Haha I don't know about the liquid sensor thing. I used to run with my iP4 using some Adidas armband, so I'm not used to running while holding the phone.
