Look for guides online. If you got the steps right, just use a little bit more force..:s12:

Hi guys,

2 months old Google Nexus 4 decided to give way. I've asked Google to send me a replacement phone and it's on the way to CGW.

I have a faulty screen digitizer, and a phone that crashes easily. Have a look at the youtube video:

Careful what chargers you use on your phone. Cranky screen might be caused by bad chargers.

I believe it could be because of the china charger I used to charge this phone. The phone tend to behave cranky whenever I do charging. It made the phone unusable whenever it's charging. And recently started to crash in the middle of the night. The screen also behaved very weirdly and unresponsive shortly after the charge and i had to power off/on screen to have it functioning normally again. After the impact was done, even after I switch back to iPad 2's 2.1A charger the screen also behaves weirdly. My screen/battery might have been faulty already.

If you find that your phone has such symptoms during charging, then i strongly recommend you to stop using that charger and use the travel adapter that Google provided. Here's the china charger I bought:

I bought tons of usb chargers till today. I noticed that most usb chargers that claim that they do 2.1A and 1.0A concurrently are all bull****. It's much safer to buy a reputable ones that gives you some guarantees.

Although, my other phones like Samsung Galaxy S3 phones, Apple iPhones 4/5, iPad Mini, Android TV does not have such screen digitizer symptoms.

Have a look at other phone users complaining, did a search on google:

Here are some of the issues for Samsung Galaxy S2 on Android Central:

It seems like the issue is also pertinent on many other android phones. I wonder is it only my phone or does anyone else with Nexus 4 have the same issue?

Thanks!

So I just repaired my half dead power button. Damage done to my phone: hundreds of scratches and broken plastic around the Sim tray. The clip below the Sim tray just refused to budge, resorted to violence and thus the damage.

Guess which is the old one and new one :p

I know how you feel bro, i also just repaired it yesterday. I thought everything was going smoothly until to the point where i hav to remove the back cover. Some of the "clips" just refused to unclip. Using a spudger is utterly useless, i even broke it trying to get the back cover off and sometimes i scream in pain coz the spudger scratched my fingers. Luckily, i only gt one or two slight scratches which is not very visible but the area around the power button is messed up, can see all the dents..
