Rooting this phone is very easy. There are a lot of guides on it. Go google it.

My N4 soft menu buttons are suddenly not responding this morning. I'm on CAF CM11 4.4.3, even when I update to 4.4.4 it doesn't solve the prob. I didn't drop the phone. anyone facing this issue and found a solution?
now I can only use the back button apk as a workaround...

Its a pretty common issue. Just do a quick Google. Sadly I haven't seen any solution yet that's doesn't involve sending the phone in for repairs.

It's a digitizer issue. It's a production quality issue with some batches of the screen. Nexus 4 is a good device but the parts itself isn't that good. Another problem is the power button.

Anyway I do have the power buttons for nexus 4. Msg me if u want to change. I'm not a dealer.

most shop do not have parts for nexus phones cause its not widely adopted by the mass in SG. I do know some who has it but it's still not cheap. $100 perhaps?

$80 is not enough. At least $100 i think.

u on budget then I suggest buying the screen off from eBay or other places. Be aware that the LCD and touch screen are glued together, u have to buy the whole unit.
