still waiting for OTA on my N5.

my N4 is not with me now, cant update it. =X

any feedback?

overall feels quite nice. need get use to the keyboard, (bg from black to white now). Only bad thing now is that it does not work well with my power toggle app.
- Toggle between 3g/wifi now become more troublesome, where previously i just tag 3g/wifi to open/close. Now tap on 3g opens the data usage view and have to press another button to turn 3g on.

- Another issue is that i've been using power toggle's notification bar to 'lock screen' all the while, to prevent overusage of pressing the power button which alot of ppl have been complaining about. Now its like i cant pinned the notification onto the bar as it will appear on the 'lock screen constantly', which i dont want. So i removed it and its not as convenient for me now as before.

Hope i can get used to it soon.

wifi and 3g has always been this way; wifi you can hold to turn off from notifications bar, cellular data is always switched off from within settings. now switching wifi off takes a simple tap, and cellular data is just 2 quick taps from notification bar, in fact the placement is much better than previous. maybe you meant the widget bar?

the toggle app is a bug, just file a report with the developer from play store and wait for an update. nth google can do. i prefer to use a hardware toggle like Pressy/MiKey

not sure if the OTA is pushed out in batches. Mine is a development phone but unrooted, so OTA came on the morning it was released. You can also flash the image yourself, it's already released, get the LRX21T release.

I understand and agree with your frustrations. Also it keeps appearing at the lock screen as well which is irritating.

I wonder why google still frustrates us with mediocre notification settings which doesn't allow us to customize. Android has always touted to be very customiseable but stock android feels like iOS in terms of usability.

erm, in the first place the hardware only supported band 1, 2, and 4 if i recall.

Idk izzit me or what... I feel somehow disappointed with Lollipop. My N4 worked great from Jellybean to KitKat. Everything was butter smooth, almost zero or non existent stutter/lag.

But since the OTA, even simple task like pulling down the notification bar will cause stutters to the UI.

Lollipop does look a tinge more beautiful though. But I'd gladly sacrifice the aesthetics in exchange for better user experience.

What say you?

Finally updated mine to Lollipop. There is no LTE option (only can choose 3G or 2G) under mobile network settings. Think the article is not true

I didn't wait for OTA and did a factory reset to Lollipop via toolkit. Everything is smooth and didn't experie any lag or whatsoever. Maybe you can consider to reset your phone to factory settings and see if it helps.
