I want the Nexus 4 because it's a pure, stock Android experience from Google, which I'm rather fond of. Also, I am ensured a faster update than any manufacturer skinned version of Android.

I will probably not root my Nexus when I get it though I have done it for my current phone. Not everyone needs root access, and rooting your phone brings with it its own fair share of security and safety problems that the average person shouldn't need to worry about.

My experience with cheap screen protectors didn't turn out too well for me although it wasn't bad since I can easily change it for $2. It gets really badly scratched and even layers of the screen protector gets peeled off, especially near the typing region. I have no idea why but I got a feeling it might have got to do with my fingernails =/

It happened 2-3 times on 1 phone of almost 2 years already...

Shall give the "branded" ones a try.
i changed out my 3M screenprotectors twice within 2months, and yet it's the cheapo screen protector that can lasts me for almost two years.

Think must see luck also....some cheapo ones really crap.

But yeah, not gonna go for branded ones this round......on average the cheapo ones serve me better, at least for my case. Maybe low costs = low expectations. :D

it is included. if i did not read wrongly.

Shopping Online USA | Shipping US Address | Online Buying USA

CIF includes shipping cost to sg.

does not include shipping cost from google to cgw.

i remember when i shipped 5 sets 16gb nexus 7 and cgw calculated based on value of goods as US$1,245. would've been 1245+13.99=US$1,258.99.

as far as i understand from our bro's post above he was talking about google offering free shipping for backordered set. i safely assume google's free shipping means from google to cgw or any other freight forwarder, not to sg.

No stocks lah......only way to get it faster is to be rich carrot head and buy from ebay. :D

Buuuuut....I already playing with Jellybean 4.2, so no rush. :D Let those who want it more have my set first. :D Who say buy Nexus phone have to root....it's usually those who don't buy Nexus phones that have to root lor.
