mine's shipped. arriving my US carrier today.

Congratulations! My friends from Australia got their N4(s) since last week. According to them, battery life is pretty poor and u definitely need SP on both front and back. For 349 USD, cant complain too much though. :D

One big turn off is the battery life of the N4. No idea why but it seems quite pathetic compared to phones released in the second half of 2012, especially when it sprouts a 2100mAh non-removable battery

Due to unfinished and refined kernel for the nexus 4. The battery life isn't what it should really be. I've seen posts with 5hr screen on. So it's only gonna get better.

That 5 hour screen on time screenshot is on full wifi.

And the reviews are only speculated to be based off unfinished and unrefined kernel. The release product already showed the battery life to be less spectacular than one would like it to be. People are getting only an average of 4 hours screen on time.

But of course, not complaining. 349USD Nexus is whoa. Although I'd gladly spend an additional 100USD to make it 2mm thicker and add more battery capacity in.

Anyone know where can I get those compatible Qi charging mats in Singapore? Would love to get them before my N4 arrive next week.

Yeah, I am working in the office too. So I normally have no problem with charging through half day. But when I start going back to Uni next year, there will definitely be problems..But then, you can always get a portable charger. But not as convenient to carry it around though. :D

i (fairly) recently converted from portable charger to spare batt (anker on sensation)

spare batt is bad because
need to hold everything separately (casing, phone back, phone body, battery 1, battery 2)
need to restart phone
cannot charge both at the same time

portable charger is bad because:
it's huge and heavy, depending on capacity

hopefully there'll be a casing with built in battery for the n4.
easy to switch and go.

Better not....it seems compatibility isn't assured always.

waiting for early local adopters to post their reviews... battery life, call quality and connectivity may vary in US, UK and here, especially now with so many people constantly on facebook while on the mrt

Hmm? I've got a spare battery and I just have to swap out the batteries. Just as simple as taking one out and putting the other in. Lol
