Just got my nexus 4 here in SG! Yeah! Got to go home and unbox it!

Mine still on the way. Vpost is too damn slow.

If you can get it cheap, upgrade. If not, wait for the next one. Gnex still gets update. Learn to hold out. i got it because i ddnt get the Gnex.

I just don't understand why 3g speeds in Singapore suffer such a huge difference compared to those in other developed countries..

Because the big 3 are too stingy to spend on improving the networks. They more interested in "ups-manship" than providing the consumers what they want. Just look at ST with their crappy Mio network, but still can spend millions on exclusive content.

And now with 4G around, lagi less incentives. Every time I see those US speedtests on 3G I wanna find a corner to cry.....

Lol my eyes recently got opened to how fast 3G is outside. But actually 2 years ago when I got my phone, M1 3G speeds were amazingly faster than today (not as fast as overseas obviously). Probably because 3G network not as crowded or something. I can get like 8mbps on H back then, with 12GB I use to torrent on private tracker also can almost download close to 1MB/s. Nowadays can get 1-2 mbps on speed test already tou xiao. 3G getting worse and worse.

Anyway I think I may pass up on Nexus 4 and get a Note 2 instead. Phone is already half dead and can't hold its own for much longer

My first impression. The screen is slightly washed out but it's cool and gentle to the eye. Nice clear screen. Gesture typing is nice!!!

Any touch response issues?

Personally I feel that the touch response issue is exaggerated, but could be wrong. =/

I'm more concerned about the battery life

Nope. I don't get what they mean by that issue. Maybe too sensitive I guess. But no issue there.

I read the warranty in the box. Covers the US only. So the answer is NO for Singapore.

LG products have NEVER had international warranty.

LG Singapore's facebook reps CLAIM that there will be warranty and servicing for sets bought from Play Store.

LG Singapore replied me in a email saying they no nothing about Nexus 4 -.-

Called LG Singapore Service Hotline and spoke to sales rep, he gave me a definitive NO that warranty will definitely will not be covered by LG Singapore.
As in, LG Singapore CAN service your phone, but you will have to bear costs.

Either the hotline guy not updated, or the facebook rep bull****ting.
Either way, gotta wait till someone actually goes down to LG's service centre and finds out.

I think calling or facebooking is quite unreliable.

will try to post some photos. Speed test at different locations i doubt can give. im always at work or in flat. battery life still need to test.
I slept for 6hrs to 7hrs. drained 4%. Think standby time is good.

i didn't refer back to that posting by whoever but as far as i could remember LG Singapore has never claim the warranty to be valid here. they merely said. they could service it.

as for the person who asked. think he might be referring to someone who offered or has written to LG regarding this.

speaking of which, if anyone who worries about warranty shouldn't have considered this phone to start with. it is the risk they should be prepared to bear (or do what i do - don't think about failures).
