So what is the general consensus? M1 or ST?![]()
in terms of 4G connection.. 3G sux..eh, this is adaptor le. not cutter.
meaning to say if u need to use microsim in normal sim phones.
Is it? My n4 ring tones are too loud. I have to lower them lol
is it me or N4 ringtones are too soft ? even in normal working environment its hard to hear the ringtones, either sms notification or phone call..
Other than the tones.. could be due to the position of the speaker grill (at back of N4) si boh? Bcos it's opening designed to flush along back of it's flat surface.. I tends to face it down on the front side or had it rest at an angle.is it me or N4 ringtones are too soft ? even in normal working environment its hard to hear the ringtones, either sms notification or phone call..
I feel so sad for my brother.
His N4 is gone..dropped to floor and the front glass is totally finished.
The most ironic thing is, the case I got for him was just within reach when he dropped.
So if any bros want to sell their N4 for a reasonable price, please PM me.
Thanks.

Hi, How high was the drop? As compared to other similar phones, would they have break too?
If you look at XDA forums, the Nexus 4 is a very fragile phone. People have reported that it broke when falling from waist height. An old school Nokia, this is not.

My pick is m1
Generally i still think red umbrella better..in terms of 4G connection.. 3G sux..
With the right drop, right angle of impact, even knee level also can send it to cracked screen heaven.Hi, How high was the drop? As compared to other similar phones, would they have break too?
These are the steps I took for my Nexus 4.
1) Replace the front SP while keeping the back one intact (Since there is no point in replacing the back one as well)
2) Bought the Nillkin matte casing for this phone
3) Cut existing Sim card to micro-sim (Mine was the older sim card hence some of the gold contacts would be cut off, no worries about the connectivity though)
4) Titanium Backup apps (Requires root on both devices and apps with all information would be cloned to new device)
5) Additional information like SMS/Call Log can be backed up as well and transferred
6) Root Nexus 4 and Log in to Gmail account (All contacts would be auto synced if you backed up to the cloud)
7) Restore apps/information to Nexus 4
This way most of the apps and information would be restored to Nexus 4, stuff like game progress/whatsapp threads would also be intact.
yah lah i meant, if you want to DIY cut yourself, and want a sim card adaptor for older phones...
The drop was about the height of a sofa armrest. He opened the door and left the phone there while taking off his shoes. It slipped and landed face down flat. The damage is so severe it looks like it took a bullet instead.
I've dropped other phones a few times from chest level but they were in a case and thus no damage was done. I strongly believe that a bumper or case would have prevented this.
after u use the N4, how to go back to other phones?
just like i used cupcake and donut. after i use nexus one, i'm going near cupcake and donut man.
