Even if you can find someone who would take the risk (irreparable damage) to repair your device, it will be very costly. High chance too that he will not be able to repair your device.

FYI, LG USA charged US$72 for the repair charges.

Then the guy has to ask himself it it's worth the trouble going through all those processes to get it sent to the US for repair, or just pay more and get it repaired here.

There are risks with sending the device overseas too, like it getting lost or damaged in transit.

I bought mine from a local guy....$570. Hope LG here will sell it so we can send it to them for repairs if anything should happen. Dont see any reason y they wont wanna sell it here since Singapore has one of the highest number of mobile phone users. Be stupid of them...plus Msia already selling & we are supposed to be ahead of them in terms of trends n tech....

It's not that Msia are behind us in terms of trends n tech or anything. I think LG are trying to push their Optimus G in SG market because it's being sold at a higher cost that probably isn't as affordable in markets like Malaysia or India..... where the cheaper N4 is being retailed at right now.

Very very silly move in my opinion.

No problem here, beyond the usual crappy data service that happens no matter what phone you get.

Hi shin89.if you browse through the thread, u might see that some of us are facing this issue. Feedback from all 3 telco including yours.

Just a tip u guys can go to www . whatsapp . com / android / (minus the spacing) to download the latest version of whatsapp with the holo ui. Looks much better than the gingerbread one imo
