anyone's whatsapp really lags like mad?

everytime i just receive a whatsapp message, it's actually sent like 10mins ago from the time stated..

then when i send a message, it will only show the tick after a min or so..

I'll only receive messages when I open the app. But I have no issues when I'm on WiFi so I'm pretty sure it's a 3G problem. I'm on M1. But I'm not using the Nexus 4... I'm using SGS3 on custom rom.

Are you signed in to Google Talk? Apparently I heard it can affect things as well.

Can consider using a proxy. Solved my problem.

On Singnet so my settings are:

proxy.singnet.com.sg
8080

Not sure about the other ISPs though.

It's working after I input those settings; thanks!

Can't load camera error

Bought a Nexus 4 from a shop in Nanking recently. It is indeed an excellent phone but 3 weeks later the camera is not functioning. Touching the camera icon would prompt a message ' can't load camera error'.

A check with LG service centre and the reply was they are no servicing this phone.

I have tried re-booting and even unlock the Bootloader and rooted the phone but just could not revive the camera.

Now I am stuck with a smartphone without camera function!

Brothers out there who own this phone - wondering you encounter such problem?

I'm on Xylon, great ROM with frequent updates. Balance between speed&stability and features.

Btw, anybody got any kernels to SIC? Good battery life + works with TouchControl mod

I second Xylon. Really impressed with it so far. So much faster than AOKP.
