i kinda disagree on this....the prospect of a hard brick from a root apps is quite slim (unless the app somehow overclock your cpu and it overheated, etc)....Just a quick FYI, be careful of apps that require root access, make sure you trust the devs before pressing the allow root access button. If it's an evil dev, your phone can potentially be bricked.
the fact is, even if the app 'repartition' your storage mount, all these are still considered a 'soft brick' (software level brick).....and as long as it's not a hard brick, all can be restore with a custom recovery and unlock bootloader via fastboot command.
so why not go experiment on it and understand the 'true definition' of root?
