Here's proof to dispel any doubts that the Nexus 5 bought from Japan doesn't support LTE bands in Singapore. Speed test was done near Marina Square; I'm using M1.

Arrived at Tenso on the 5th, left for Singapore on the 6th and in my hands today which is the 8th.

all latest docomo phones in japan have world band for LTE.
but however when you test it with overseas sim card on their countries.
you will not experience LTE speed.
because docomo restrict the LTE to their own sim card only even throught it is world band.

Nope, US LTE band is incompatible with SG. YOu got buy it from Japan or Aussie.

why not call the telco and say u wanna change to 4g? Its free to change, just that you have to forgo the 12gb data.
