Hi all... need assist here...I'm buying 32G Nexus5 cost over SGD563......If I'm using vpost from Japan to Malaysia...Will I get charge for GST 7%? Supposed the parcel should be directly ship from Japan to Malaysia? or from Japan > SG > MY?

tenso mailed me shipping confirmation today, 5:30pm saying they have shipped the unit. EMS given but no active yet.

Can I expect to see it on Sunday? Or Monday?

why don't you use tenso? Ships directly from JPN > MY via EMS?
I'm not sure if vPost MY will ship directly from JPN > MY. can ask them though

you need to show some verification that you are at the address. For example, in my case I initially used my Identity Card that has my home address. But i realised i probably not at home if the EMS attempts to deliver, so i contacted tenso and tell them about the situation and I wished to change my address to my workplace/company address.

They helped me reset my account verification for address, then informed me to change my address to my workplace before submitting the documents. For the documents, i submitted my photo ID of my company ID, my company address and also a previous shipment that has my name and company address on it

Is this your first time ordering from overseas without direct mail?

Here's how it goes. You register at Tenso, they will give you a Tenso address. When you buy your item at Google Play Japan, you give Google Play Japan your Tenso address and you pay Google Play Japan (1st payment). After the Nexus 5 arrives at Tenso, Tenso will email you to inform you to pay shipping. After your payment (2nd payment), Tenso will ship it to your Singapore address.

I know many of you are using tenso. I don't know how much it costs but i can recommend you guys Tenso Japan - Japan Package and Mail Forwarding Services. Connecting You and Japanese Online Stores, which is also a division of Tenso i believe.

It is extremely cheap and quick, no need for any identification or proof.

My nexus 5 shipped to me in 2 days after arriving at the forwarders and the shipping total was 1400yen which is only about $17sgd or so.

why not call the telco and say u wanna change to 4g? Its free to change, just that you have to forgo the 12gb data.

Changing 3g to 4g plan is free just that need to change to equivalent plan that cost the same. Data from 12gb will be downgraded according.
