Posted this in the user thread but don't think anyone reads that thread actively.

For those that has already unlock bootloader and rooted, what's is your preferred method? Chainfire Auto root? Or use adb and command line?

The former is for those who want fast and sweet but not knowing what goes on behind screen, while the latter is a manual way, for those who willing to learn and it may come in useful when your phone have some problems, bricked/rebooting etc.

N5 is my first android phone (using ip4s previously) and just rooted it yesterday. I followed very closely on the guide [GUIDE] Nexus 5 - How to Unlock Bootloader, Install Custom Recovery and Root - xda-developers

Had some hiccups in the initial stage due to the damn usb driver but all resolve as per the guide too.

Some question for N5 users -

1) Any recommended music player or all using Google music play?
2) Any recommended sms app or all using Hangout?
3) Any recommended broswer or all using chrome?

1) Can't comment. Listen to spotify
2) Can try Handcent, but using Hangouts currently
3) Chrome mainly for me. If not, boat browser not bad.

I'm interested, but I think I'll hold for Nexus 6, hopefully another big improvement over nexus 5 like what N5 is to N4.

Need help, does anyone know what settings I need to change to enable 4G LTE on the N5? It's only connecting to 3G. I'm on the Japanese set and using Singtel 4G plan.
