just got my phone yesterday!!!!

ordered from google JP on 28th december, got the 310k though

the buttons feel okay with my casing on so it isn't an issue

does the speaker holes being larger make a big difference?

I received my N5 2 days ago. Ordered a 32GB set from Google Japan and shipping thru Tenso. Kinda recommend to purchase thru Google Japan because of the weak yen exchange rate. Cheaper than the HK version. And guys, in Tenso you can declare a low amount for your item if you peeps are wondering...

So far so good, rooted and installed Cataclysm ROM and Franco Kernel already. The battery life is pretty great so far too. Very satisfied with this phone, looks like it will always be Nexus phones for me. Ever since Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and now Nexus 5

How long is it for you guys when u ordered from Google JP -> Tenso -> Sg

I think I made a slight mistake when using the buyforme service. I place the link as https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_5_black_32gb without the .jp

Would that be any issue, cause tenso placed the order on 8th but it still haven't arrive at the warehouse yet. I'm assuming delivery within Japan should be quite fast.

The thing is, the N5 stock is not from Japan but HK. Google takes the stock from HK and ships to Japan. It took 6 days from HK -> Japan, and from Tenso to me 2 days via EMS.

So u finally ordered. Mine is 311k though I ordered on 18th dec. As long as u r satisfied with the audio, just ignore it.

I'm sorry if someone has explained this, but it's been tough for me to find the answer on the thread. So here are my 3 questions.

1) what is the cheapest way to get a ROTW Nexus 5 32GB?
2) if it is through the HK/ Japan store, what is the procedure or steps like?
3) I am also able to buy from hk as I will be there shortly but only for 2 days. If this is cheaper, can someone tell me where in hk this would be?

Followed the instructions HERE just yesterday evening, and they seem to work. I have the email receipt from Google, not sure if it means everything's alright since the shipping date is the 15th.

Did anyone notice the Google address in the receipt is a Singapore address?

Also, during checkout, it will indicate "International Shipping" at 0 yen. Anyone tried entering a Singapore address?

That's the NETT price from Google play store. However, of course, you will need to pay shipping from JP -> SG + GST if applicable.

Yep. As mentioned there's still shipping and possible GST to pay for. Shipping can be through Tenso like the instructional post says, or you can do it through vPost. By weight vPost might be a bit cheaper, but the risk of the item shipping in a bigger box hence the possibility of paying for volumetric weight made me go with Tenso this time. Let's see if it turns out right or wrong for me.

I've just ordered the N5 32GB (Black) from Google JP.

Not sure if this has been recommended but if you would like to VPN into JP or other countries, you can consider using this complete freeware SoftEther VPN Client Manager.

Ordered on the 12 and it says it will ship on the 15.
Received an e-mail earlier this afternoon that it's being shipped from HK to JP.
