And I'm glad Nexus series isn't like Samsung S series which they kept dishing out new phones.

I was using my phone (web browsing and YouTube) while charging, phone got WARM, not hot, then suddenly saw this...

Did I drop it? No. It just popped out by itself..

Of course, it clicked back in just fine but imagine if one day it happens to all 4 corners?

Working fine... But a bit scary ah. My phone was on my bed, weather also not very cold leh...
When I clicked in, the clip was damn tight, so something must've happened to release such a tight clip...... Hmm...........

Well yeah, that's the general idea, no need SIC la,
taobao, qoo10, confirm somewhere in marketplace also have one.

But idk leh, i don't get the real life usage of a portable wireless charger, i mean once it slides off, it's useless.

I myself have a Anker Slim2, perfect charger for me. With that inbuilt cable & slim design, what else can i ask for. Haha, sounds like i advertising for Anker, yet i'm not MO~ing their products.

If this happens more often soon I'll be able to carry a spare battery with me and change it when the battery dies

Think this is just a one off case but if this happens often and you got a new battery, just switched it. No point waiting. Two reason:

1. The capacity of the battery degrades as soon as it is manufactured. A new battery which is just manufactured can hold much more charge compared to one that is also brand new but manufactured a year ago.

2. Do you want to risk the faulty battery inside your phone to blow up or burn the internal circuitry of your brand new Nexus 5? I wouldn't.
