Just bought a 2nd hand black Nexus 5 32gb for 500 bucks and joined the club. Condition is almost brand new. This is my very first Nexus device and I am absolutely loving it.

Now I have both the LG G2 and N5. Still thinking if I should let go of my G2...

Screenwise, definitely loses to G2 in terms of colour depth. But am amazed at the pure Android experience offered by the N5 and of course the phone's design. Anyone if there is any way to tweak/calibrate the N5's colour profiles?

I hope there's also ways to minimise the nav bar (way too thick and wasting screen space by default) and hide it during games, videos, viewing images.

Thanks a ton! I actually did some of these UI tweaks for my G2 as well, and am quite excited by the inevitably more powerful stuff that the dev community churns out for the Nexus devices. I indeed have a lot of exploring to do!

Does anyone use an alternate home launcher like Nova or Apex? Normally this would be one of the first things I install and configure on a new Android phone but I'm a bit concerned about the possibility of the launcher slowing down the OS. I mean, pure Android just absolutely flies and everything is already so smooth. The main reason why I want a home launcher would be to change the default app icons.

Currently, a 4G plan is actually a 3G plan with 4G add onto it. As long as you don't opt the optional 4G, you still have 3G at 3G price

Yes, you will be charged extra as long as it is 4G you are using.
