u call this expensive?? i paid $900 on the eve of launch date for HTC ONE.... this is cheap... im getting one to replace my wife's nexus4...

Dont compare Nexus 5 with HTC one. Google play store.. shipping fees.. etc..

Unless the G2's sources are fully released like the Nexus 5, it will never be as smooth or stable as Nexus 5.

even i with my butts feel, sometimes, i find nexus4 is faster than HTC ONE.. when come to smoothness, nothing beats vanilla android... this i have to agree and i might give up ONE for N5.. but im addicted to Blinkfeed and Zoe.....

it's not expensive if u can accept their margin, well.. they need to earn right?..just like every electronic stuff reaches singapore shore, it become expensive.... of cause, if u think that's beyond your acceptable level, go get somewhere else, get from another source or self buy...

Now still waiting for mass order from AU's. Hoping it is more reliable to order together. Cos worry it might get damage.

max per order is only 2. google going to ship out in 2s. max u get is a box that can fit 2 sets. unless forwarder is ok to repack, which comgateway never ever did for me. or unless u mean someone bring back.

i dont see how ordering 10s and 100s being more reliable than ordering 1 or 2.

Not too sure too. I think i read somewhere in one of the mass order thread, they will cover the delivery and condition of the phone.

Yeap. I ordered 5 mins of the launch. Until now status still set as pre-ordered and pending.

I couldn't wait so I actually called their support line

Apparently my account is under review (for some unspecified reason), so my order still pending. They say review can take up to 48 hours, so hopefully by tonight I can confirm whether I can get it or not.

Exactly, it should cost more than the HTC One even with those added. So that doesn't exactly help your argument.

You want the absolutely cheapest - buy it yourself from Google.

Some tech reporter should pick up on this and expose the irony of the situation for Neuxs supporters in SG.

For all we know, it could be that Google has an agreement with LG to not ship to certain regions...

Actually for Australia play store the phone ships from Hong Kong.

Google Asia HQ collect money only.

Hey guys, has anyone ordered N5 from japan but still hadn't received any emails yet?
I ordered it from US initially, but had it cancelled cos it hadn't got the LTE bands.. That US order I had received a confirmation email almost instantly. However, for the Japan order, after I placed my order, it still says "Pending" after one day, and there was no confirmation mail of any sort.

Anyone has this issue?

It's not like the G2 is a lag fest like those Samsung flagships anyway.....it runs faster than my current tricked out N4, even with LG's UI over it.

Exactly like what I am facing right now. But I didn't cancel my US order. So that one was shipped since yesterday. JP one still stuck at Pending. Even tried creating new account with different card, also still the same. No confirmation email at all.
