hmm anyone feeling worried about the state of the nexus 5 when it finally lands in our hands? i've been reading alot about dead pixels and overall condition of the hardware of the phone/construction quality being really poor. if such a problem occurs to our phones..then how are you going to rectify it? phone isn't gonna be released in SG for a while so i doubt the retail shops will have repair services..

yes.. (ten chars)

OT, I usually order thru VpostUSA, and use my US cc/billing address during payment.
Wasnt aware you can use vpost as the billing address. But VpostUSA so slow, going forward I will be using CGW, at least DHL seems faster.

FML google :(
Haven't shipped mine yet. Ordered Sat night! :(
Is yours the 32GB version?

Call the bank and ask if there is any pending transaction on your card. If they have made the amount available to Google Play then it's Google's fault for the slowness. Otherwise it might be because your billing address is not correct (must be same as tenso's) or your card is blocked or something.

Good idea. I'm shipping with vPost though, if that makes a difference.
But both addresses are the vPost address.

if your account is flagged for review, will need at least 48 business hours for them to clear. Mine ordered Sat morning only cleared today.

Google has shipped my USA model Nexus 5. I ordered 2 phones pretty late on afternoon 1 Nov. Which the confirmation mail quoted ships in 3-4 weeks. This morning received the shipped email and UPS has shipped the unit out..

Anyone ordered USA set has arrived and happily playing with the new toy.

Would like to ask a few questions:

1. What card did you use? Mastercard? Visa? And from which bank?
2. Did you recieve the confirmation email right after you click "order"?
3. When did you add your credit card to your google wallet? A long time ago or when you just started ordering the Nexus 5?
