Its ok to import lithium ion batteries to Sg? Isnt it prohibited?
It's still better than the current Nexus in some aspects. For example, the N5 actually has a proper wired tv out capability. Miracast is disabled on the current Nexus devices, good luck trying to cast your screen without a wifi connection.I keep coming back to the Nexus 5 after using the 5X and S7. Somehow the Nexus 5 is just so sublime to use, even though it's specs are pretty outdated now.
Anyone still rocking their Nexus 5 till now?

My Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 died in around 1.5 years. I suggest going for more reliable brands if you want your phones to last.
Google search "Nexus 5 stuck at boot animation" and "Nexus 4 soft keys". These are 2 common problems for the earlier models.
Same here. Dropped multiple times and save for a couple of cosmetic nicks, the phone is still going strong. Have never liked applying SPs/cases for my phones, but may make an exception this time. One thing I can say, it's damn durable. My wife's N5 thrown around by my kid so many times, and it's still working generally (except nfc and qi charging spoil liao).
Why not a tempered glass SP? Damn cheap anyway.
Mine is coming 2 year+ this August and is showing no signs of dying. In fact, it seems to have been given a new lease of life with Lollipop and now Marshmallow. The N5 is snappier than before, even more so than my N5X.My Nexus 5 and Nexus 4 died in around 1.5 years. I suggest going for more reliable brands if you want your phones to last.

Can't say for their newer phones, but the LG G2 I was using before was a pretty good device, save for the horrendous UI.I can't help but think it may be a LG thing given their current flagships track record.
3 years is pretty amazing. Actually I'm thinking of getting a brand new N5 and save it for when my current device eventually dies, if ever hahaMy N5 is still going strong. It's become a lot slower, and some stuff like GPS doesn't work as well as it used to, but it's been almost 3 years.

Yep. Have brought it out of cold storage and have been using it for the 3rd day. So far, it has been great. Smooth day-to-day operation on Marshmallow and the display has held up well. Battery life is surprisingly acceptable as well considering the cell is 2yr old.Ur current device is the N5 is it?

Yeah. I have palm cramps using the 6P without some sort of ring attachment - I hate using two hands on a phone. And it's not like I have tiny hands.I bought my N5 in Nov 2013 and stopped using it since I got my N6P. The N5 is now kept as a spare and 2nd phone (for travel). Its still working great with the latest Rom; and it is so comfortable in the hands - light and ergonomic! I will keep my N5 - a collector's item.
Hehe....I keep mine stuck onto the wall as a makeshift home automation remote. And sometimes I cast spotify to it.I bought my N5 in Nov 2013 and stopped using it since I got my N6P. Hi guys, am currently using a HTC M7 but would like to get a N5 for marshmallow as it's rather cheap now. Only concern is battery. The htc and N5 has the same battery. How does the N5 batt perform?
