Hi guys, when I tried to ordered from JP play store, the price reflected are in USD 399. Is this correct? I am using tunnelbear and select a Japan VPN.

Do I need to register a "japan google account" to purchase.

Appreciate the help.

tunnelbear doesn't work. create another account using Softether VPN

Anyone knows if EMS Speedpost in SGP delivers on sunday?
Saw a few forums that they do deliver on sundays but still not confirm...

No, they don't. They only deliver on Sat morning (1/2 day). They don't even deliver the package if it arrives at the sorting centre in the afternoon, i.e., no late afternoon/night delivery.

You also can't arrange for delivery at specific time period if there hasn't been any delivery attempt.

Singpost sucks, very unflexible. DHL rules.

Yeah. I have ever gotten Borderlinx / DHL to deliver parcels to me on Sundays and late at night (up to 10pm I think) before. Of course, you have to pay for the privilege..

Those of you who used vPost instead of Tenso - was it because cheaper (too bad cannot complain now) or just not familiar?

Yes, latest till 10pm, however usually they will schedule 7pm/8pm-10pm for night delivery. Basically DHL got 3 time slots, 10am-1pm, 3pm-5pm, 7pm-10pm.

Not true, depending on where you shipping from, which merchants, etc, based on my experience, DHL is cheaper & faster than Singpost EMS.

E.g., DHL shipping from JP to SG only takes 2 days, including the day the package is shipped, i.e., if the package is shipped today, it should arrive SG tomorrow, most of the time, then can arrange for delivery on Saturday night or Sunday.
Compared to EMS, if shipped today, it will only be delivered on Monday/Tuesday.

If your package arrived in SG before Monday, it should be delivered on Monday. However, if it arrives on Mon, most likely will only be delivered on Tues.

Having said that, I noticed EMS shipment JP to SG has improved in speed a little bit, i.e., if it's shipped today, should arrive tomorrow afternoon, but quite useless, cos Singpost won't deliver it till the next biz day.

vpost shipping fee is like 100% more ex than tenso, and insurance is like 700% more ex than tenso.. and 20% the efficiency of tenso..zz (currently on hold for 10mins also no one attend to u on phone)

sadly in my eagerness to order at 4am 1 Nov during launch.. didn't manage to find other forwarders at that time.. now again I realised why I never used vpost again for the last 6 years..

Vpost Shipping is about the same price and can be even cheaper if you use promo code.

The only thing is probably insurance more expensive and not as efficient. Where insurance is optional.

Reason on people getting from Japan and not US is because of the
1. Network support?
2. Overall damage?
3. Tenso vs Vpost?
4. Other reason ...... (please mention it if there is)

Thank you...

I chose vPost because of easier account setup, which obviously is a wrong choice. I didn't know that we are able to start shipping our stuff to Tenso even when our account is not verified yet. I thought the verification will be taking long time which turns out not. I just want to get it fast, paying a little more doesn't matter.
