I'm using this, Metrans MWT02

Works fine with a LG Optimus G pro and a N4, don't see any reason why it wouldn't work with a N5.

hi all;

my nexus has shipped from tenso to SG, not trying to spread misinfo. account suspension does happens.

in the wallet credit card setting; if you added a SG issued credit card
the play store will not accept it as the billing address is SG based

Transaction not allowed for SG address card

Transaction went thru after using any japanese address

as long as you choose the drop down as JP it will work.
now its up to the banks to review and confirm if this is a fraudulent transaction.

but

google do review account information. the best case is to use a new account.

How much is it?

I bought it in China during my last business trip, around SGD50 or so I think. Anyway, I think there are some postive reviews for Metrans charger from xda, can always google those.

Will test it out with my N5 once it's here, hold on to your purchase first..

Well imho it better be a 100% success rate if I'm paying SGD$80 for it. There's no reason for Google to not allow Tenso to buy.

Yes, but why don't you just use a local card? Google Play JP does not check address.
