Warranty Coverage in Singapore

Hey guys...

With all the post on ppl getting their hands on Nexus 5 from Japan Google Store, I'm really really tempted to jump in and get the 32GB...BUT only 1 thing that is of my concern and stopping me now...and that is the WARRANTY.

If I get Nexus 5 from Japan Google Store, how is the warranty coverage in Singapore gonna be like? If the phone suay suay got problem then how? Bring where to repair or RMA? Locally got repair centers? Izzit have to ship back to Japan for the warranty?

Also, if buy Nexus 5 from Japan Google Store, will the phone's 4G LTE work with Singapore telcos' network?

Those who got it already please report the status back. Please help answer my queries and after that...Nexus 5 HERE I COME...

Many people say it's hardware cos resetting to factory default did not solve the prob.. while some others did not even report the problem at all so should be hardware...

Might not be hardware.
The iPhone 5s had some motion sensor/GPS/compass/...... calibration problem, and it was fixed in subsequent updates to iOS 7.

i tried it with the application google keep and tried recording a voice memo, it seem that it did remove the static although the sound became muffled

video errmmm was noisy, sounds like wind blowing into a normal mic.

i think i figured out why,

cause might be the microphone function in the video app has been set to a higher gain level or the noise filter from it is set lower then the others ie phone, google keep. cause if not the sound in the video will be like super soft.

the mic input is amped up till all the noise is evident.

Also, what did you put for shipping and billing address? what card?

You will only receive an email when it is being shipped.

Hi, how do you cancel the order? In Google wallet, I can see the order status as pending and there dun seems to be a way to cancel it. It has been a day and a half, no change.

Go to Google Play Store and cancel from there.
