So far so good. Love the wireless charging.
Also without removing the camera protector that came with it, photos look good so I will just leave it there.

Feels light comparing to G2.

Don't feel that the battery is draining as I am wirelessly charging it in office and home.

Speaker is louder than that of my G2.

Colour of IPS panel is slightly yellowish comparing to G2 which is bluish.

Still testing...

how Japan Nexus 5 owner charge the phone

would like to check with all Japan nexus 5 owner here, what wall adapter did u guys use to charge the phone? the Japan wall adapter tat come in the box certainly doenst compatible here, the charging of the phone does bothering me a lot everyday, currently using PC usb to charge the phone which is incredibly slow.

the ori charger is 1.2A, been tried to use iPad & iPhone wall adapter paired with ori cable to charge the phone, but in Setting > Battery, it indicate tat it is charging in USB mode, read online tat USB mode will charge the phone quite slow, even u r using a higher ampere adapter.

thinking of whether to get a universal wall adapter to use the ori charger or to get a new wall adapter/cable to charge the phone. someone please advise..

I'm using the moto g / ipad wall charger. charging speed was normal for me.

my recommendation would be this [INNERGIE MMINI 15W DUAL USB ADAPTER]

That's a first.

Colours can be changed using majority of the kernels available out there now.

Don't bother to use outside those cheap cables, 10/10 cannot speed charge

I'm using my nexus 7 charger output is 1.5A I think.

But phone still charging at 1A max.

Usb charge is 500ma. But with kernel hack you can achieve 800 to 900ma.

In order to do AC charge, the data pins must be shorted.

It's internally shorted inside the ac adaptor, I check b4

I suspect the adaptor you are using now did not short the data pins.

Why not use back the original adaptor? You just have to buy apin converter

I using S4 charge to charge. It's incredibly fast. Around 1 1/2 hrs to charge from 10% to full. Bought from Qoo10 as spare as I was using S4 previously

You can root and install custom colour profiles. Some kernels allow that. Tweaked mine and huge improvement over stock.

Not the loudest out there and nowhere near boomsound but it's better than my G2.

For headphone volume, still iPhone is the king. Half way and already loud whereas on Androids need to normally set to 75% to achieve same volume.

Tried volume+,etc but no dramatic effect. Even paid for the app before. Bummer

So far so good. Dethroned my G2 finally. :)

One question, did you guys peel of the camera lens protector?
It seems that Nexus 5 still takes decent photos with the protector on so I left it there. :D

There's a cutout in the centre so pq is not affected so I left it on to protect the surrounding exterior instead.
