i did, because i was holding a note 3 and loving it. touchwizz is a bitch but the processor and ram make up for the lag.

note 3 battery life really is no match. i installed sygic and drove from sg to cameroon highlands without charging it. i don't think n5 can make it even to malacca.

the screen on note3 is beautiful, it's just so big and vibrant to me. subjective.

the sound on note 3 is amazing compared to n5 again. n5 sounds kinda distorted and just bad.

camera again is much better in note 3. n5 can barely make it.

like what many others said, Note lll wins over N5 in almost all aspect,
and i just sold it waiting for my N5 why? i just love the purity interface of stock android. no matter how much one themed their note lll, they still can't escape to see those ugly sammy interface. and that's what i can't stand.
To each his own, u got to ask yourself what u really want.

I also sold my Note 3 for Nexus 5. Note 3 is much better than Nexus 5. But I gave up my note 3 mainly because I'm real tired of the gingerbread look. Have been using s2, s3, note 2 and then Note 3. Dam those green color icons in the notification bar. Been there since forever.

The absence of physical buttons on Nexus 5 was also a pull factor for me.

Quite obvious I made the switch purely out of aesthetic reasons, both in software and hardware. Lol

Oh and the standby battery drain is much better on Nexus 5.

putting down the N5 infront of the Note 3, not comparing apple to apple leh, price wise is already a big factor.

but like what this guy said, pure android experience is more impt to me than anything else, esp when i was using samsung, the phone is SO LAGGY after awhile that I swore never to go back to samsung again.

to each his own, every phone is capable of everyday tasks now and most of the newer phones are with the fastest processors around, so as long as you like the phone go for it, don't need to think so much.

"downgraded" to N5 from a HTC One.

not regretting it :)

Guys, what is the difference between Japan and US sets? Cause the price differ quite a lot...

why you all never mention knox. rooting a samsung phone will never be the same again.

i like freedom to change everything on my phone, and no ads.......ever.

no difference. both will work with our LTE bands in SG.

Difference is the ac adaptor plug type and where you'll be RMA-ing in future if any problem occurs.

i'm a HTC promoter, and it's definitely not a downgrade.

another thing I noticed.

The screen is much brighter than the G2s?
But as I said before the tint is abit warmer comparing to G2s bluish (HTC is the same) screen.
The yellowish screen is closer to that of AMOLEDs.

Is there anyway to tweak the temperature without root?

Samsung Galaxy was quite laggy sometimes bu most importantly it drains battery faster even when at sleep. Moving to Nexus 5 was a big improvement for me and I never look back. Battery life is now good and most importantly when it sleep at night it only lose a few percent of battery juice.
