Am not sure about the authenticity about those batteries as I haven't thought about replacing it. But I'm pretty sure replacing it shouldn't be of much difficulty. There are tons of videos tutorials out there that shows how to crack open the N5 and replace the battery.

Replacing it is rather easy is getting the genuine battery which is hard

Feels no different leh... But on rare occasions apps open can only see white screen then need reinstall then can open. Not sure is app problem or phone cause it happens to a few apps

Which apps?
Don't have such issue on mine.

Sideloaded 5.1 2 days ago. My impressions so far:

1) Batt life *seems* to be enhanced slightly. Not sure if this is a placebo effect, but I did notice that it's better.

2) Everything is smoother. I used to have some odd stutter and lag before 5.1. Looks like 5.1 plugged the memory leaks.

3) Finally able to create my own "Silent" mode. Set notifications to "Priority" and only allow calls and alarms interruptions to go through. Notification LED will still pulsate for messages (SMS, whatsapp, Facebook etc).

the silent mode is a plus so far, and also the ram mem leak seems to be fixed.

Nah man, wanna hear your first hand experience. Lots of these supposed "enhancements" are not that great. Battery life is forever supposed to be enhanced with every update.

Battery life is not that good for me, not even when was with KitKat, but can feel less lag now with 5.1. Anyway, I have no expectation on batt life, since I charge whenever I can, and always have a power bank everywhere I go.

I've gone 5.1 as well, so far so good. Can't say what the difference in performance really is because I also did a factory reset. Having done both the phone is blazing fast now and battery life improved a lot, much less battery drain when on standby too.
