I've gone 5.1 as well, so far so good. Can't say what the difference in performance really is because I also did a factory reset. Having done both the phone is blazing fast now and battery life improved a lot, much less battery drain when on standby too.

Did you receive the OTA update or manual flash?

hi, is there double tap to wake screen for the nexus 5? thanks!

there is (need to flash Kernel iirc), but that feature was not meant to for nexus 5, hence they kind of just make the touch sensor on the whole time, making a massive drain on battery, should you choose to turn it on.

I'm currently suffering from the power button issue on my Nexus 5 (the phone keeps rebooting as if the power button is always being pressed). It's not stuck or anything, just seems to constantly register that it's being pressed. As such, I can't even boot up into the home screen. Googled for solutions and it turns out it's a very very common problem.

Anyone managed to find a fix for this? Have tried whacking it very hard against the table but still no cure. I don't have a soldering iron so probably can't replace the power button. RMA possible for this phone?

Yeah I've opened up the back case and basically disassembled the entire phone. Some people get it to work again by whacking the power button side hard against a surface, by pressing the button very firmly for a duration or opening up the phone and fiddling around. Guess mine is a more severe case which requires a button change.

Hi guys, dropped my n5 recently and cracked my screen. Touch is still working fine but was wondering if it would be worth getting it repaired or just getting a new phone. And if so, any recommendations on where to get it fixed? Thanks in advance!

siao liao., my n5 power button gave way.
tried opening and the switch is a very challenging solder to work on.

Any one has any shop to recommend to help replace the SMD switch? I have the switch, but not the skill.
