It's definitely not the coverage problem, I have tested it almost all over Singapore. Prolly going to go down to an M1 Cust Service Centre some time soon, unless someone here manages to save me from a trip

So were you on GPRS? Change to the Sunsurf setting~
Just click the Bubble (Dot) on the right.

Go to your dialer, dial *#*#4636#*#*, Phone Information, Scroll down , Set preferred network type, LTE/GSM auto (PRL)

When you're in an area without LTE, it'll take some time to switch to 3G/H, so after it switches, then try your speedtest or what.

But i personally feel speedtests are quite redundant on mobile devices.
Especially since i used like 400mb of my data unknowingly to test speeds..

Yep I did that already but thanks so much for ur help. I was always on sunsurf APN so nope GPRS wasn't the cause. Haha speed test eats up a chunk of my data when I use it on lte but for 3G (I mean...2G) it can't even finish the test haha!

Once you get the phone you will know....otherwise there's 1001 questions that you will waste yours and ours time asking and replying, when you don't even have the phone in hand. The fact that the whole Android world is going gaga over this phone is good enough reason to just go get it and try it for yourself.

you don't have to...unless you download those background updating/sync apps, just unstall them or turn sync off, restrict to only wifi on settings/data usage etc.

if you are really using nexus 5, just go to multi task swipe left or right...

Anyone knows how to activate the snowing effect for Nexus 5?


I tried shaking but don't work.

make sure your g+ is the latest version, mine just open the photo app choose any photo shake phone gt snow liao

I am using the default email apps for office email. However I can't find a way to delete multiple emails. If I have a hundred emails, I hv to select one by one and delete then repeat that in the trash bin. Anyone know how can I delete multiple email at the same time?

I suppose for both its possible to tap the contact's profile icon to select the message. Tap more to select multiple.

Update for M1 3G: for users who experience really slow speeds (mine was 0.06Mbps) please go down to M1 cust service centres to talk to their staff. Something was wrong with my SIM and they fixed it

Latest Whatsapp update has the ART working! (there is a work around previously but nothing beats coming from the app developer!)
