Latest Whatsapp update has the ART working! (there is a work around previously but nothing beats coming from the app developer!)

its 4.4.1 onwards that fixes it.

I find the notifications volume reallllly low on the Nexus 5, to the extent that its barely audible when you're outside.

How are you guys coping with it besides flashing any mods or custom ROMs?

I am trying to stay as stock as possible. Or are there any xposed modules to boost the speaker volume that you would recommend?

I am quite puzzled by the people who posted at xda forums. I am using franco kernel r23 with THE SAME SETTINGS, stock rooted yet I am unable to achieve 5 hrs SOT as compared to theirs. Anybody facing the same issue?

Did you check the CPU binning?
Different CPU binning results in different default voltages.

well that depends on what you do in the 5hrs of SOT.

if you're playing games for 5hrs, no phone can handle that.

I can barely scrape through 4 hours on most days.
Bitch please, 5 hours is nothing now.
People are getting 3hr of SOT with 50 percent left. I'll never know how.

I blame it on the rubbish telcos and their network signals.

Don't bother, it's nowhere near to any usable state. Tried on N4 and N7, what a waste of space and time.
