be clear on what u r looking for. otherwise you can meet a thousand manager and even when u found what you want you don't know he/she is the one.

most importantly be prepared to work hard, be aggressive and stay hungry for sales.

don't come into the industry expecting things to be easy.

pte can earn more money, but as a start do you have enough capital for marketing expenses, transport to these places as well as the knowledge when serving your clients.

btw need to ask the agent bro/sis here

my uncle wants to rent out a room from his place, for half a year, to try out and see whether can get along with new tenant or not.

is there such thing as half year lease? coz i always hear 1 year 2 year lease, but not half year

and if its half year lease, still need to pay agent half month comm?

Usually the pratice is whether is one year or half a year.

It should be 0.5 month.

Provided the tenant agrees

Minimum is 6 months contract and 1/2 a month rent as agent fee is already the minimum.No point to pro-rate the agent fee even further after Company split it's even lesser. I think any lower no point doing rental :D
