Anyone? Whana know if they really could fix that yellow tint issue...

Also how u tell them ah? Cause under normal operating tempreature cannot see at all. But walking under the hot sun wit the phone in ur pocket then take out and use then very obvious..

It's a known issue and Sony Mobile already made an announcement that they will fix it for those who have the issue. So you have to send it to the service centre and leave it there for 3 days for them to replace the screen. But as of now, it seems the parts have not arrived in Singapore yet. You might want to call them and leave your name / number so that they will call you once the parts arrive.

And the tint appears when the temperature goes up to 40 degrees. Perhaps you can run some games to heat up the phone while showing them the tint.

Dropped mine on the day when the nillkin cases just arrived :(

Looking at the pic, seems that even the case cannot save that drop. It landed right on the spot where there is no cover.

For mine it happened once "auto" heat up even when not using. I need to turn off it wait for a while and on, then back to normal.

On Sunday, I went to collect NFC tags and check with the Sony customer service. They told me the parts are in but maybe out of stock anytime, hm.....

They can lend me a normal phone that can make call only but no guarantee microsim can fit in, depend on my luck.

Don't have a good impression with them.

for me, i have a wrist lanyard attached to it..i know it looks sissy. and few days back someone bump into me while i walking with one hand smsing on a busy street, and the phone slip off from my hand. luckily with that lanyard it saves me from the drop. i make it a habit to wear that lanyard on my wrist whenever i use my phone.

Sorry to see that :(

For my last 2 phones, I did not use case, I did not apply screen protector, I only use hand linker. Not once dropped my phone for over 1 yr of using it... Now some in my circle of families and friends are getting it too... biz idea, bring it in SG, sure boom :)

A must for me coz I take a lot of mobile photos and the awkward way of holding it will surely cause the phone to slip a few times.

Hey chai, I went to order the hand linker, hope it will turn out as good as u say, I bought the white and silver lol. it cost me 28 buck to get it ship here. Hope it arrives soon. :s8:

I am glad that carlover told me that the stock for the screens are not here yet. So no need waste time send it in

the CSR of bugis junction 8 advised me to come down and have my xperia s inspected by the technician and said maybe the fault is due to installed programs..

i know she's talking rubbish... but what about rooting? will it void the warranty? so that i know whether to flash my phone with the generic .73 before sending to the service center.. and root it again when it comes back..

that is if.. the parts will "really" make it to singapore.. haha.. hopefully it wont take 15months to get the parts, wait til most phones will be out of warranty.. :s22:
