I bought it from a shop near Yew Tee MRT station.

BTW, I am seeing Yellow Tint on my repaired phone!!! It was at 42'C. It's at different locations. What the hell... It's even bigger than last time.

Thanks. Are you going to send it in?

Then I guess, I will have to send my phone for screen replacement and coat the back of the screen with a single layer of heat resisting material myself.

Why would anyone wanna switch from galaxy note to xperia S when both are equally the same???

An upgrade for galaxy note should be either HTC OneX or the upcoming Galaxy S3.

There will always be a newer phone. Just get what you like when you want it
On a side note, newer doesn't always means better

Jealous... U have ics on ur tablet... My Sam tab 10.1 havent update...

People want ICS is to use it to brag.

But the thing is, there is nothing to brag about, besides the fact it is only the latest version.

The one thing you should brag and be proud of is that your phone looks chio and you are running on Android instead of PineAPPLE OS. =)

I've tryout the HTC One X yesterday.

Aside from slightly bigger screen 4.7" vs XS 4.3" and slightly faster speed (heard that it will overheat and uses more power), i dun see any other superior differences over XS?

IMHO, the feel of HTC is like plastic, i dun like the feeling of the holding grip of plastic casing and the light weight too.

Fact is, XS with ICS will win a lot of people heart due to marketing. Many have stated before, XS launch with ICS will def improve the sales of sony handsets and the contiune usage of GB does fence off people from buying simply because, GB is not the "latest".

No, I'm not gonna send it in again in a hurry based on the fact that it took 18 days for them during the recent repair. But the service center did mention that I have to go back there within a month if the same problem resurfaces.

If they replace the screen again without properly solving the issue, it's a LOSE-LOSE situation between SONY and me. :(

what they did is just replace the screen... literally. they did not come up with the solution how to block the heat from the battery, circuit boards to affect the back of the screen.. im thinking of spraying a single coat of heat-resistant paint at the back of the screen panel when i got my screen replaced.
