Xperia S Battery IMO is like WA! Cause I previously own a Samsung Galaxy S which battery life sucks.

Doh. My sony tablet got ICS update before xs. Looks like they emphasize earlier updates for older devices.

But for Samsung is the opposite. My Galaxy Tab still haven't receive ICS and their app running on their firmware always crash. Example: Dolphin keep crashing on tab while not one Xperia S.

The Tablet S gets the ICS updates first since they don't have to undergo GSM certification

I thought galaxy tab received ICS already. I am not using dolphin but I found that using opera mobile (not mini) will exit itself on certain webpages, both on my xs & tablet.

I see. That certification really takes long time then. Seeing all the ICS leaks a couple months before the official update is released.

Why not using ICS stock browser?

To say that GSM certification takes a long time is an understatement

Carriers in America frankly, makes things a lot worse, and the diversification of Android hardware doesn't help either, not forgetting all the different antennae being used out there

Frankly speaking, it's quite a headache

Give it a shot. I'm using it. Not bad

Im still playing with some of the new stuffs.

Amazingly, arc (mobile) already have the folder options while it takes sony to release ICS for tablet in order to receive folder options. But I cannot complain too much, already got ICS now. :D

Especially where phones are locked to telcos are the worst. Its bad when people are looking for root while the US users are also looking to unlock the phones.

No wonder those guys are always so noisy, get the updates when the rest of the world enjoyed it a few months earlier.

I do not know about ICS on mobile but I found that opera loads webpage a bit faster than ICS stock browser on my tablet.

I hope sony do release a better version for xperia, not that I find any fault in the ICS stock browser.

saturated colour go for amoled. Natural colour go for Sony's LCD backlit led panels.

The HSDPA ratings in Singapore are moot

21 vs 14.4 vs 7.2 mbps.... 7.2 mbps here works just as fast as the other 2 due to our insane population density levels
