Is the USB flap replaceable if it falls off? The white connecting plastic on mine looks like it's partly broken and it's going to completely snap any time now.

Maybe I will leave it as it is if the flap drops off.

Xs is not water-resistant anyway and its a hassle to remove the flap everytime.

i was surfing a website on my xs.
then it sudden hang. i tried to force close by holding on the top left button to switch off. but it couldn't switch off.

i tried to take out my sim card also no use.

how how how??? =(

Where's the rest of the RAM?

The Xperia S is supposed to have 1 GB of RAM, but the running apps only shows 635 MB of RAM in total for used and available RAM.

Does anyone know the reason for this inconsistency?

The unseen (missing) 300+ ram is used to run the phone os & essential programs. The remaining 600+ ram you see are available memory for apps.

the newer 2.45 is definitely better. more ram available. even with go sms, nova launcher, ec widget, illuminatic bar, running in back ground, my ram still200 mb plus

No Landscape mode in home screen?

It used to be that the home screen would auto rotate to landscape mode while charging, but now it doesn't. When using other apps like messaging or phone the screen will auto rotate.

Does anyone know why?

Which phone are you talking about? I know that normally you will get landscape mode for sony phones when connected to TV via hdmi or when put on dock.

hi, does anyone here have problems with the smart tags aft the update of the "smart connect" app?...it was ok for the 1st few days aft the release of the app. but aft a while, my xs doesnt open up apps when i tabbed the tags. it plays a sound when i tabbed it to a smart tag, so i suppose it still detects. the strange thing is it doesnt vibrate as it usually does and there is no response whatsoever in the OS..

Dun really understand u but I am facing a rotating issue as well... When charging, my home screen will rotate even though it is not suppose to... My screen will go blank and I nid to put it upright to use... this only happens when charging...

Yup, original... Only happen after the last update... But seems like I'm the only one...

OK, but I never seen any landscape mode for xs when plugging my phone to phone charger.

Some other times when I see landscape mode on my xs is when I just exited an app that only uses landscape view.
