Ya.. I was running pure aokp JB on my s2.. Almost zero lag.. Good batt life. But someone had to steal it..

Ditched Sammy rom one week after I got the phone. Went on the custom rom bandwagon for a year plus and its all good!

Sammy phones are only good for one year. After a year, it will be laggy and may hang for no good reason. This applies to gs and gs2 for my experiences.

Sammy software is not good as its hardware, at least we have xda to fall back when things get ugly.

Amway now a days who will use phone more than 2yrs hahaha

I need help. Whenever I tether to my laptop, sometimes I will get the message that it's not connected to the Internet although I checked and it's connected to my laptop. Anyone encounter this drop in connection? Also, is it better to tether via bt or wifi? Thanks

Xda roms usually performs better. Users only stick to sony ui because they dont want to mess with roms or sony ui looks pleasant.

Okay I'm on wifi but why use halfway no connection one?
Then sometimes I try to connect again and it says I can't join the network

Brother, I agree with you that sammy software sucks all time which is true comparing the ICS on Sony when it pushes out and those pre-installed on the S3 or upgrade on the Note and S2. What a joke on their software engineers!

In terms of technology and precise, nothing beats the Japanese.

Brother, you are wrong as not many are as rich to change phone less than a year or after 1 year.

Do remember that some of them are tied down by the Telco contract for up to 2 years and even after the contract ends, he or she might want to change phone so it is up to individual and it might not applies to majority.
