I think it depends on whether the launcher has landscape mode, for example Go Launcher has landscape mode (but quite bad icon arrangement in landscape)

Viewing angle on the Xperia S sucks like hell. As reported by many.

But sucks also good...people cannot really see what you do or type.

Got my White Xperia S on release day. And i must say its pretty good. But i found a little bug in this few days of use and was wondering if any of you guys experienced this.

First one isn't really an issue but sometimes after charging my Phone, when it is connected to the charger, it was full bars, once i unplugged the charger, the battery percentage drop down to a 99 immediately. No use no nothing. It happens in a minute and

Second. Sometimes, my Homescreen will be completely blank. Blank as in...i can't see my homescreen icons, app tray button folders etc etc. And the lockscreen(Not 3rd party. I am using Widgetlocker) will black out completely. Apps will launch slower than usual and sometimes crash. A power down will fix this but having to power down this bad boy two to three times a day, can be a little irritating...^^;

I hope i am not the only one with this Bug....lol i wrote too much..

the thing is, when view from other side it sucks but view straight, HOLY SH*T

This is the design and not design flaw as Mobile phone is a personal device, you will not want someone sitting beside you to see what you are watching on the screen as it is your privacy. =:p

Just use MediaGo to organize your music and the Sony Ericsson PC Companion has changed to Sony PC Companion, colour of the interface has change to blue instead of green. Cool!

With MediaGo, you can use it to import your playlist from itunes as well.

To me its a flaw. Nexus/S2 and Iphone have better viewing angles than this.

Straight is great, side isn't.

They have better viewing angle but take note that Nexus or S2 is using AMOLED so different from TFT LCD so just with Sony's BRAVIA Engine, it can achieve such good result using TFT LCD, that was amazing.

AMOLED will burn the screen in the long run and the colours are over saturated compared to Xperia S, colours are just right.
