I feel Sony is following the belief of giving customers the best experience they can get when using the Xperia. And that is why Sony refuse to follow the rest to go quad cores until time is ready and have been delaying the release of ICS to xperia. They want to make sure you get the best performance possible with the OS working perfectly with the device.

That is why you see in the video above, a older spec XS can performance better than a current latest spec OneX, simply because OneX is still not optimized yet.

I can see what HTC is doing there. Both Samsung S3 and iPhone 5 are set for launch this yr. They want to earn as much as possible before these 2 devices are launch. Simply i believe, if you put iPhone 5, Samsung S3 and HTC One X on the table and told to choose one, i believe most will choose iPhone 5 or Samsung S3 over the HTC OneX.

omg... this is not funny... all i can say is that things these days are not designed to last, be tough, etc...

might as well check out online if you're going to mod the phone anyway for more interesting replacement parts...

thats just my view since i read that it costs $60 to replace anyway...

Sony Xperia S, P and U to visit America, Brightstar to buy the tickets - Engadget

Sony may be readying the Xperia Ion for US shores, but we haven't heard any news yet on whether the phone-maker's NXT family of phones will ever visit all those states. That's where Brightstar comes in. The wireless distributor has announced that it'll be offering up the Xperia S, P and U -- but hasn't yet offered up any concrete dates or specific markets. This means we may see the three Sony phone appearing on smaller, possibly lesser-known carriers -- Brightstar mentions its "regional and local expertise." The distributor's excitable press release is right below.

more good news for SONY sell more overseas and take more mkt share from fruity and samcrappy hahaha

haha funny they use a oldsch movie from eddy murrry haaah and promo xperia ahhaha

No more Beats headphones with your HTC? Just what the Dr. ordered -- Engadget

htcnomorebeatswhutup.jpg

Despite all the hype, opening up the API, and recently scooping up a music streaming service, we might have seen the end of Beats brand plugs being bundled in with HTC phones. Martin Fichter, a product executive for the phone manufacturer, told CNET that "If they want a Beats headphone, they'll buy it directly," suggesting that the lure of the in-the-box pair just wasn't strong enough for those with a penchant for bass. Perhaps this explains why the whole "Enable Beats" option embedded on the new One series no longer requires the brand's headphones to activate it? Still, if true, the move seems a surprisingly quick turn around on what was originally a much vaunted collaboration. That, or contractual obligations further up the food chain are drawing to a close.
