Yes, so cute. Just now happen to turn on the camera mode then put near the table, can really see the texture of my table in macro view, the camera is damn good for macro view.

Thanks, as a matter of fact, it's taken with the XS at point blank range.

Here's the original pic for illustration purposes.

To add on, I just hope sony will give us more options of personalizing similar to HTC Sense such as.

Quick settings in the top menu.
More customization of the lock screen although I know applications can do this but I prefer it to be included in the default.
Options to allow us to add alerts for applications to the lock screen , like Whatsapp for example.
A favourites application tab perhaps?
he's so cute many many!!
playful mah? =:p
and give us the option to remove apps we don't need!!

His name is Bailey..

Maybe it was just some inconsiderate and not well-informed comment/answer from a CSO from SONY center. :s8:

In this era of Internet, such a little ignorant statement could create some big fire online! :s13:

that's the ugly truth.. yes, it will take months!! many many months! as I told before on this forum, "next week" is just plain BS.

CSO also told bro carlover that stocks will come next week again.. so I'm on a constant watch til 13 April.

there is only one thing we can agree on, the CSO is uninformed (to BS people). he is just too natural and honest. haha! though he's my kind of guy!

some "free" things are actually paid for..like the xperia smart tags for free? it's a gimmick!

some "free" things are really will be given with a lot of hesitations.. free LCD screens? thousands of it?! that's what we really call free!! Sony, you never saw this coming, don't you? haha

come on Sony. everybody is watching you!

Yea he's alway dying for attention. To the point he keeps asking us to touch him and it gets annoying.

They are very playful but yeah, can be too handful at times :s13:

They should be honest about it, so people don't leave their phones there thinking the part would be in pretty soon.

You shouldn't be using a smartphone at the first place. Sony is late anyway. People already watched shows with iphone, galaxy then sony... so wols.

Maybe they mean some users take months to find out the problem or it takes weeks to months for more replacement parts to come in.

Last time I worked in sony logistics warehouse, there are spare parts shipping in daily. And these spare parts are strictly replacement parts. So dont get too negative about it.

Usually some of the service centre workers do not know what they are talking.

Previously I call up to check repair period for replacement of arc case & was told it will take 3 hours. I went there & one goondu told me 3 days. I asked him to check with the person I spoke to & after a few communication here & there, it took less than 2 hours for the repair.

That's good enough for a repair to be done, i rmb that Sony Service Centre (Previously Sony Ericsson) took whole freaking 2 weeks to replace my arc housing.

Plus, it is only done after numerous email correspondence with their in-house technician. Was previously dismissed for the housing issues as user wear and tear, where the crack beside the proximity sensor is a well-known issue.

The service counter staff just throw smoke bombs, every single time i go for service of my Xperia arc. :(

Guys,

Don't be too negative and more stocks for the LCD will be coming this week or next week, those who have already list down your contacts with the service centre will be contacted by them shortly once there is enough stocks for replacement.

Just have to leave your contact with them if you do not want to leave your phone there and wait for the LCD to arrive as you can still use the phone first while waiting for their call for the replacement.

Definitely, all the affected sets with yellow tint will be replaced for free so not to worry.

Thanks for the info, carlover76 :)

Anyway, how you guys protect your Xperia S for those using white version ?

It does get dirt frequently and easily. But unique colour combination though. :)

Can I just check with all the xperia s users in this forum. Is everyone having the yellow tinted screen problem? Anyone out there without this problem?

Can't spot any yellow tint issue, been ramping up the phone temp with constant temple run. Screen looks okay to me after an hour of gaming.

I'm not too compulsive on the replacement parts..I'm using my phone to the extents like torturing it, 100% brightness all the time, 30min screen timeout.., etc, try to come out with more skeletons so the warranty will just tidy up whatever will come up once it's due for servicing..

better than leaving my phone there are wait with uncertainty.. :)
