I composed and posted it from my backup Nokia C3-00 handset.

Although I can comprehend the situation, I sincerely hope SONY has found or will find a proved-working solution for this yellow fever issue ASAP.

Life is getting so boring without an up-to-date smartphone in my hands and I want it back sooner than I expect.

Yellow tint doesn't make me unhappy about the phone. I rather have this problem than others like the htc users.
In a way the tint tells me i shld stop using the phone so much and get a damn life.

my friends say sometimes they dont even notice it, so they cant be bothered to change it
hannor i think most of us are guilty of that. everytime take mrt i see most people playing on their phone the whole journey

For me, that yellow tint is pretty distracting and mind-boggling. I wanna get rid off it legitimately as early as possible, if it's a matter of whether-you-do-it-now-or-later scenario.

For me, maybe it's still new, yellow tint does not show up unless the phone is really really heat up. As long as it stays this way, I could still live with it. Don't really notice it most of the time anyway unless stare at white screen.

I just discovered I have yellow tint problem also. Not very obvious and still can live with it. Probably getting it changed when free.

Out of curiosity, I gave 'em a ring just now and I was told the spare parts have not arrived yet!

I sent in on 01-04-2012, telling me it would take at least 3 working days or more. They called me on 04-04-2012 and said it would take another 7-14 working days for the spares to arrive.

I counted on the calendar for the worst-case scenario; the spare parts can reach here as late as 25-04-2012 (which is my birthday) and I'm not sure how long their staff would take for the screen replacement exercise.

I asked her if I could take it back first. She hinted it's not possible by saying, "We have already sent it in."

I just wanna cry.

If its only the display, they will repair locally. If they sent it to who knows where, maybe you will get a new set.

Phone call is useless. Previously I go there & make noise because of their communication error then I get what I want.

Im not asking you to make trouble, but just try to get your way.

I am also facing the yellow tinted problem. It is the top part of the screen so unless i turn it around horizontal to read mail or website, if not it will not bother me.
Since it is FOC, I also decide to change. So far, no news from the svc centre. Plus, I also request to change the bottom part where I accidental scratch and left a black line.
For me, previous I was using my company Iphone and I dun really like it that much. PLUS IT always have to sync to ITUNE be4 you do anythingzzz. cannot even copy doc into it the easy way out. After leaving the ex company and iphone and now in new company and using new xperia s. This phone really serve as multi purpose equipment.
I am able to do my presentation and take clear picture using XS. Sending email is a breeze! lol I just hope the ICS will be stable and as effective as current OS then I will extremely happy GOGO sony
