Glad to hear that I am not the only one having a antique phone. Haha

Nowadays phone company to build a phone that cannot survive more than hours without recharging and it is still called a mobile phone. How mobile it is while you need to plug into a socket most of the time

Because it's a smartphone now. It's not solely on the the phone but also how you use it too.

Looks like all are waiting for Sony Service Centre to call for the new screens. Still using my phone despite the yellow tint issue.

btw how do we access the Playstation Store on XS?

you can install the unofficial app for it in one of the pages in this thread..
but the store goes by region, so you still won't be able to download it.

I remembered 1 of the Sony staff told me that the PlayStation Store will only make available for ICS rollout.

Any one got experience charging with PC?

This also happened on my friend's Xperia X10 previously.

Normally I charge using PC USB port then sometimes haven't finish charging, I head to bed, so I switch off the PC with the USB still plugged to the USB port. iPhone can continue charging that way or rather remained with enough battery.

But for Xperia, when I wake up in the morning, the battery is almost flat for no reason?

Same thing happened for my brother's Xperia S today.

Any idea why?

Any one got any idea the cause of this?

Thanks!

I had encountered a similar problem during my first charging in which I used the dock and wireless KB transmitter plugged in. When I was about to sleep around midnight, it was like 85%. In the morning, it was like 40% left and still charging. That evening, I went to SingTel and got it exchanged. ;)

The new unit I got from that exchange is now at SONY repair center anyway. :s8:

Since Android is releasing JellyBean by this year...so why they still work ICS, isn't that abit like always 1 version of OS behind?...means like Android OS release so fast also useless us. :s11: :s11:

1. Because Jellybean is still at rumor phase.
2. Sony are adding finishing touches to ICS
3. You would not know how long it takes to work on new android version, testing phase & certification process.

Sit back & relac, xs users are still going to get ICS.

Thats it, you switched off your pc. No charging for your phone.

While plugged in to your pc, its running who-knows-what-app-while-plugged-on consuming more energy than standby mode.

Get a casing that does not cover the holes. Mine does not.
