Just call Sony Xperia at Bishan to check for availability of the LCD panel. It takes one to two days to change. One to two month for stock to come.

my whole screen is yellowish if see from all angles. this is due to lcd?

Thru out yellowish is ok. This have been discussed until death in here, apple forum, htc, samsung etc. Uniform yellowish is ok, most point to the glue used in the display panel.

However, yellowish patches, that is not ok.

The lcd panel itself have a layer of glue to secure each sheet of display i think? Not sure about this, maybe other bros here can share some infos?

So does urs have yellow patches? If no, then its okie.

I think someone posted yellow patches display here before.

yellow patches is cause by the heating of the phone. I had posted a photo of my phone without yellow tint in an air condition room. When the phone start to heat up it appear again.

Just wondering, to the people with yellow tint, are you using the quick charger? Reason I'm asking is because I'm not, because I don't like anything getting so hot (both the charger and the phone), and I never get the tint.

The YELLOW tint is cause by the over heating of the phone up to 35-40 degree. The yellow tint will be spotted at the side of the screen or at the bottom of the screen. Replacement of screen will fix the issue with the screen. A total of 8 parts will be change and their will help you to update your firmware. After replacement of screen, no yellow tint appear even at 41 degree. I am using quick charger to charge my phone and this is not the cause of the yellow tint. My batch is the first week batch.

Left in aircon room and the yellow tint will disappear. It will appear again when you start using it again.
